However, I really like knitting with Swish and the washability makes it great for baby gifts.

Five years ago last Saturday, I wrote my first post.  In fact, I posted daily for four days!  That first year, 2006, was by far my busiest, blog-wise, with 152 posts.  Last year, I only managed 34.  I'm going to try to do a little better this year - at least once a week.

I did 14 pattern repeats on each side, instead of the recommended 15.  Each repeat is 10 stitches. I stayed up with him until about 1:00 a.m., because I knew he was doing really badly. I have 2 sets of size 6 DPNs, and one set is marked 4.0 mm (which is what the pattern calls for) and the other set is marked 4.25 mm.
